Learn to Swim

The Leisure Complex at Lough Lannagh is proud to offer Swim Ireland's 'Learn to Swim' programme which will empower and inspire children to challenge themselves on their own journey of learning to swim. Your child will benefit from a curriculum that encompasses a range of teaching methodologies with a real focus on repetitive, accurate and quality practice with elements of guided discovery. The programme is based on structured play, meaning that while children are engaged in fun and engaging activities the lessons are well planned and have clear learning outcomes.

Swim Ireland Levels 1-7

The different stages of the programme take your child through from the Fundamental Movement stage advancing through to Level 8. Your child progresses through the stages of developing skills, movement in the water, and most of all having fun.  Once your child proves their competency within each stage of the syllabus they will progress to the next level.
